I finally and honestly stumbled,

Into that apartment of someone new.

The long days of Summer left me humbled.

And as keen reminder, got Deja Vu.

Moments in time to screw up forever,

I was there when it ended with always.

It took depth, my sigh, to not be clever.

Aware of the numbering to our days.

I still never decided which is worse,

The bustling of crowds or silent sleepers.

Changing prophecies might end with a curse,

But I already tried finders keepers.

I look in windows for your underscore,

Did you become one of the ones before?
